scratchboard

appears woven from light.

Fine, precise lines form lifelike

depth reminiscent of a computer wireframe

mesh. His scratchboard and other art fuses timeless

subjects with a contemporary sense of texture and design.

SLOpoke Western Art Show

Octagon Barn Event Center

San Luis Obispo, California

I attended the SLOpoke Western Art Show with a full 8-foot wall display featuring a wide variety of my work during the three-day event. It was an incredible experience meeting talented artists and chatting with art collectors. For the Halloween opening night, I even dressed up as the rodeo clown from one of my scratchboard pieces — a perfect nod to my art and the spirit of the show!

Studio Blend Gallery
Sealy, TX

I was honored to have a long-running display of my work at a gallery in Sealy, Texas. The collection included a variety of 2D and 3D pieces that were on permanent display and available for purchase. Although the gallery has since closed, it was a wonderful opportunity to share my art with the local community.

Praise for my work

A tender scene of reverence after violence, rendered in scratchboard, reminds us that each mark, each act of subtraction can create something haunting and beautiful; sometimes, removing is a way of moving forward.
