After being selected to participate in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Auction, my student Eric Hernandez’s artwork has sold for $25,000 at this year’s auction. 🎨
The auction supports Go Texan Scholarships, benefiting students across Texas, while also recognizing outstanding student artists from across the state.
Eric’s work was displayed in the Hayloft Gallery at NRG Center alongside pieces from eight other Royal High School finalists, highlighting the strength of the art program.
We’re proud of Eric and all of our Royal students whose work was selected and showcased at this level. Moments like this reflect the talent, dedication, and opportunities being built across Royal ISD.
